Anger : Wrath.

Anger Series.
Artwork 3 - Anger : Wrath.

The final piece to the puzzle to complete the anger series is 'Anger : Wrath'. This speaks about uncontrolled rage. It is like a pressure cooker and only time will tell when the explosion will occur. Anger expresses itself in many ways that the eye can see, be in in facial expressions, body language or psychological responses. Living creatures tend to make loud sounds or attempt to make themselves look larger and exhibiting aggressive features which are designed to warn the other party to bring the threatening behavior to a stop.

This also happens to be the piece that I have chosen to be printed for this module.

Artwork was executed in only illustrator as I find I am more familiar with the program. Illustrator also allows for more fine and exact lines which is dire for my work.
This is my 'draft', the last sketch that I picked scanned into the computer.
I then uploaded my final sketch into illustrator. I gave it it's own layer and entitled it 'original doodle'.
I then used the pen tool on a new layer to painstakingly trace each line. As with the other two, I started off first by tracing the tagline 'anger'. It is present in all three works. Again this was accomplished by zooming into the original sketch. I also used the shapes tool to aid me in obtaining elliptical or square shapes but the majority of it was organic shapes. When working on the artpiece I did not fill in the tracings but worked with it empty to ensure I did not miss out on any pieces that needed to be traced for I feared overlapping may happen. For this final piece, I added more layers as there were more distinguishing features on it and for me myself to not get confused, I find it easier to placed them individual layers.
This view is after I had finished tracing the entire design and inking it in with black.
This is how it looks when I was working on it, not filled. As you can see, there are many layers depicted by the different colors of the pen tool.
This is how it looks without the 'original sketch'.
This is the completed version without the 'original sketch'.
Afterwards I drew a rectangle fitting the canvas size using the shapes tool. I then fiddled around with colors as well as the gradient tool. I used a large streak of yellowish-orange down the center diagonally to highlight the tagline in the picture. The rest of the colors are a variation of deep to bright reds, most highlighting the different elements in the art piece.
This is my final work in illustrator.Title : Anger : Wrath.
Tagline : Anger.
